Two teams from Crowder Consulting took part in July’s 5-a-side football tournament organised by Yorkshire Water in Bradford. The tournament raised money for the charity WaterAid and was supported by water companies and their contractors / suppliers from across the country.
Team ‘Crowder Netbase 1′ performed strongly, winning their group stage on goal difference, only to lose the semi-final 2-1 against H20verheads.
Team ‘Crowder Netbase 2′ had a very tough group stage and unfortunately failed to qualify this time.
The eventual winners of the competition were Titicaca.
The event was a great success, with both Crowder teams continuing their twice weekly practice and looking forward to taking on the industry for a fantastic cause in the next WaterAid football tournament!
