Crowder Consulting recently sponsored the fifth annual CwMAG Autumn Conference, with the theme this year centering around ‘modelling a path to resilience’.
Hydraulic modelling is increasingly being used by water utility operators to tackle the challenges facing the water industry, and can play a key role in ensuring resilience in water networks.
Raasheed Pakwashi, one of Crowder Consulting’s senior engineers, was pleased to be able to attend the event. “The workshop was very useful, helping to revisit the basics on PRVs and how they work, sharing issues and challenges faced when using them in modelling applications. The papers presented at the conference were also extremely interesting, relevant and thought provoking. I will go on to use the information I gained at the conference to help guide development of HM Manager, Crowder Consulting’s hydraulic modelling application.”
